Crow Chin
Erinna's first introduction to gristone with a day's blitz on the routes of Crow Chin at Stanage End. Some short routes, some very run-out routes and a lot of very very blustery top-outs.

Our final day of climbing on Mingulay. Clay and I abseiled into Lower Cobweb Wall, which took almost an hour due to the complex route finding issues on the final free-hanging section. Once down, we set off up Cuan a Bochan, but the final groove of the first pitch was too much for me and I fell off (a couple of times). Luckily, Clay took over and smashed his way up through this, and the even harder moves above on pitch 2. We topped out after taking about six hours to go top-to-top, very hungry and happy. A fun, challenging end to a very good week of UK trad.
The weather looked favourable for much of the weekend, giving myself and Will the chance to finally have a crack at the Cullin Ridge. Feeling fit and strong I pushed on alone after Will chose to descend half way through the route, ultimately bailing when I couldn't find an easy way up the back of the Basteir Tooth.
Warm up day in Scotland with Joe on the Buachaille. Easy scrambling on the route, the hardest part was the (incorrect) steep slabs on the approach!
Two days on wheels eating cheese, meat and bread, touring the vineyards and drinking the sweet nectar of the world's finest grapes
Anna and Jon hosted us in the Czech Republic for a weekend of cross-country skiing. Unlike in the UK right now, there is no shortage of snow out there, with powder more than a metre deep just off of the groomed tracks! Great fun, although our technique needs some serious work.
